Four months; only four months left of 2017. Let that sink in for a moment. It's crazy how time flies; this year has truly gone by so quickly. Sometimes we don't appreciate time as much as we should. We take for granted the time we have with the people we care about and serve importance to our lives. We wake up, do our daily routine and never stop to appreciate the essence of time. If you stop and think about it, time is more complex than simple. Time is everything; it dictates the things that happen in our lives. The friends you meet, the people that enter your life would not be in it if you weren't at the same place, at the same time.
I've come to love time because every second spent living is another opportunity to truly live. I'm talking about living and not just existing in this world. Although I've come to love time, I've also realized that there are moments where I absolutely hate time. When things take a turn in your life because of timing, you realize that time isn't always on your side. There's events that happen because the timing just isn't right. When this happens, you have to learn to accept that there are a lot of things in our lives that we don't have control over.
So take the time that you do have and use it to your advantage. Make memories with the people who matter to you, go on an adventure, do something you've never done before, take the risk (even if there's a possibility it won't go your way), speak from the heart. Do all the things that set your soul on fire, and if it doesn't go your way maybe it will someday. Like they say, there's a right time for everything.
